Many individuals believe that allocating much money on building enormous external public spaces is vital for cities and towns. Having much space in some outdoor areas such as parks can be beneficial for children and the elderly because they require more places to do exercise or enjoy fresh air. With expanding public spaces, cities and towns may make spaces which are used for private purposes such as creating a house become smaller. From my perspective, I cannot stand with people who believe that investing in constructing large spaces for outdoor activities may bring benefits for the cities and towns. The government should distribute the national budget effectively to satisfy the demand of people who require more spaces for their personal purposes such as houses.
To commerce with, spending much money on creating bigger areas for outdoor activities can also bring benefits for people. First and foremost, going outside can bring many benefits for people in many age groups because they can attend many activities that help them enhance their physical health. For example, many groups of people who exercise together can be seen easily at any parks in Ho Chi Minh city in the early morning. Expanding the public spaces can influence them to create more groups around the cities or towns, therefore, more youngsters or the old can be motivated and participate in doing exercise. These activities not only help them improve their mental and physical health but also give people more chances to communicate with more people and enlarge their circle of relationship.
Although public spaces can be helpful for the majority of people, focusing on allocating much money to construct public spaces may have many potential effects. If the government distributes more than half of their money on creating public areas, their responsibility for the society cannot be completed perfectly. The requirement for private houses in public cities is rising day by day and it has become the most significant problem that the government should solve. They must allocate the space effectively to meet the demand of people who want to have spaces for public purposes and also private ones. Furthermore, spending the national money efficiently can help them enhance the public services of their own cities or towns. More equipment can be bought if the hospitals are distributed more money so that the quality of the healthcare system can be improved and life of people can be enhanced as a result of better medical services. Last but not least, by spending money effectively, the government may have more money to take care of the elderly who suffer from financial issues and increase their life. It will be better not only for the citizens but also for the fame of those towns or cities.
In conclusion, more public spaces are constructed can be beneficial for people who want to go outside and do exercise or meet their friends. It also helps them to expand their circle of relationship by allowing them to meet more people and attending outdoor activities can also improve their physical and mental health. While allocating money on others instead of focusing on investing in building spacious public areas can improve the life for all the people who live in those areas because of aforementioned rationales. It is suggested that the government in those cities and towns should balance between enlarging the public areas and taking care of the life of their citizens or dwellers. Therefore, they can meet the needs of a wide range of people.
