Innovation applied in business and industry is inevitably needed to meet certain amount of profit. The profit growth considerably supports the economic growth of a country that lead into the welfare of the community. The orientation of the profit growth often relate to the expansion of the business and absorbing bigger number of human resource, so it open many more work fields.
However, some industries do not pay much attention to the side effects of their business activities to the social and environment. Industries which produce everyday needs such as foods, soaps, fabrics and so on leave chemical waste that need to be processed before being released to the environment. The opening of the field before the construction of the buildings also need to gain permission from the communities that live around, because the industries can bring several social effects besides the benefits they give: the sound pollution of the industrial activities, for example.
Either making profits and addressing social and environmental issues are critical to achieve our shared goal: improve the quality of life. If we only focus on making profit and avoiding to preserve the sustainability of nature, the destruction caused by the greedy acts can cost much more than we imagine. The stability of social condition is not less significant: creating healthy work-life balance for the employee and people who live around the industry can contribute to the productivity.
Therefore; attempts to crate a high-profit, responsible business needs effective strategies. Strict regulations from the government need to be applied to minimize the manipulations. Some qualifications need to be fulfilled before companies get a permissions to actualize their business. The management of waste also need to be authorized.
